Information about patent applications, granted patents, utility models, but also non-patent literature.

Main purpose: to avoid expensive duplicate research and development

Indicates whether the invention is new and patentable.

Is performed before entering the market
Answers the question: Does my invention infringe IP rights of others?

Search for a collection of patent applications and granted patents covering the same or similar technical content, in various countries and globally.
